Naar Phu
Bis im Jahre 2002 war diese Route für Trekker nicht zugänglich, nur wenige Touristen haben diese fast unberührte Gegend bis heute entdeckt. Dieser Trek offeriert eine Kombination von hohen Gipfeln und Bergpässen, Gletschern, abgeschiedenen Dörfern, engen Schluchten, schönen Wäldern und Felsformationen sowie Klöstern mit einzigartiger Kultur.
Tilicho
Dieses Trekking ist ein Trans-Himalaya Abenteuer und führt zu einem der höchstgelegensten Seen. Der Tilicho See liegt 4919 Meter über Meer im Zentralhimalaya. Dieses Trekking führt Sie durch zwei der am wenigsten besuchten Bergpässen in Nepal. Sie steigen auf 5500 Meter hinauf und erhalten so die beste Aussicht auf den Manaslu den Himchuli und viele andere Berge. Der Abstieg führt durch dichten Dschungel Richtung Tilicho Base Camp und im Anschluss erreichen Sie den Mesokanto La Pass, einer der schwierigsten Pässe des Landes.
1. Day - Departure Europe
2. Day - Arrival in Kathmandu
Transfer from the airport to your hotel and time at your own disposal.3. Day - Drive to Besisahar (800 MASL)
The bus drive takes about 5 hours. Afterwards you are going to hike to Khudi. You will stay in a trekking lodge for the night.4. Day - Khudi – Bahundanda (1430 MASL)
You will hike up along the river Marshyangdi towards Bahundanda (Brahmin Hill). You will walk anlong rice and millet fields and you will cross a swing bridge.5. Day - Bahundanda – Chamje (1560 MASL)
The landscape is similar to the one the day before, however the valley slowly gets more narrow.6. Day - Chamje – Dharapani (1840 MASL)
After some time you will cross a bridge over the Marshyangdi River. On your way you are going to see a deep valley and sometimes the river disappears underneath the huge stones.7. Day - Dharapani – Koto Qupar (2600 MASL)
You will hike up through pine and oak forests to a glade, there are Tibetan teahouses. There you have a great view on the Manaslu You will continue hiking to Koto Qupar, your base for the Naar Phu trekking. There you will have a great view on the Annapurna II.8. Day - Koto Qupar – Dharamsala (3250 MASL)
The day today starts early since the day is long and exhausting. After crossing the river, which flows through the Naar Phu valley, you will hike through wonderful forests. After passing the narrow valley the sight will be widened.9. Day - Dharamsala – Kyang (3740 MASL)
A steep ascent in the valley along a small river takes you to a 3200 meter plateau. You will pass a not permanently inhabited settlement of the Nar- folk. You will cross path from time to time with the Yaks. That morning you will experience one of the most beautiful hikes in the Himalaya. The landscape is fantastic, white rocks, crumbling slate, knotted trees and red and orange colored bushes line the path. The mountains around you are spectacular and Phu Kosi shadows your route. Later you will reach Chako, where the grass is bound together in bundles for drying on the roofs and the praying flags are blowing blow in the wind. Today’s camp is located on a plateau high above the river.10. Day - Kyang – Phu (4050 MASL)
Today you are going to follow the river for a while. You will see unique chorten for which Nar and Phu are famous. Over stones and rocks you will reach a glacier river. You will cross over a bridge which is covered by slate and reach Pupigyal Kwe. These monoliths represent the entrance gate, which will give you the first sight on the three Phu villages.11. Day - Acclimatization day in Phu (4050)
Today you will be on a discovery tour in Phu.12. Day - Phu – Junam Karka (3550 MASL)
You will go back to the Phu-entrance gate, hike down to the river and reach Junam Karka, a wonderful place for the night camp.13. Day - Junam Karka – Naar (4150 MASL)
You will hike down to the old bridge, which leads over a deep, narrow canyon. Afterwards the hike goes up to Naar. You will pass by painted bamboo covered chorten before you will be rewarded with an unforgettable view on Naar. Gentle landscape of hills, mustard fields, four old and colorful gompas as well as snow covered peaks please your eyes. You will be in Naar early. After lunch you will discover Naar. Be ensured there is a lot to see!14. Day - Naar (4150 MASL)
You will spend a day in Naar to go sightseeing in the village and its surroundings.15. Day - Naar – Ngawal (3650 MASL)
The Kang La (5240 MASL) is not a difficult, but spectacular pass, where you will see the Annapurna II, the Gangapurna, the Tilicho and the airport Hongde. The way down is steep and jumping over the scree is the easiest option to get down. Shortly before Ngawal you will see an unusual grouping of chorten and praying flags, which signalize a meditation grot high up in the mountains.16. Day - Ngawal – Manang (3500 MASL)
You will leave Ngawal and hike south towards the “Upper Pisang” route, a wonderful route which leads through isolated villages. There you will have an unforgettable view on the Annapurnas.17. Day - Acclimatization day
Your guide will do a daytrip with you. This can be towards the Gangapurna Lake or to the other side of the valley up to a monastery.18. Day - Manang – Khangsar (3740 MASL)
The route leads towards the Tilicho Lake to Khangsar, which is the highest village of this valley.19. Day - Khangsar – Tilicho base camp (4150 MASL)
The path on the left side of the Tilicho Valley leads towards the Tilicho base camp. Most of the times there is a lodging available, if not your guide will organize a tent. The path often chances since a glacier moraine has to be crossed.20. Day - Tilicho base camp – Tilicho Khola base camp (4990 MASL)
Today the path goes up in zigzag to the Tilicho Lake (4920 MASL). It continues to the southern camp at the Tilicho, where lunch will be prepared. Afterwards it goes on to the Tilicho Khola base camp, where you will be staying through the night.21. Day - Tilicho Khola base camp – Northcamp (4940 MASL)
Today the hike starts early towards Tilicho north camp since the wind is not that heavy then. On your way you will pass the High camp (5240 MASL) and the Eastern pass (5340 MASL).22. Day - Tilicho North camp – Chaurikharka (4200 MASL)
Early in the morning you will start your hike over the Mesokanto La pass (5120 MASL) towards Chaurikharka. Once you look to the west while hiking you will see the Tilicho Peak nearby.23. Day - Chaurikharka – Jomsom (2780 MASL)
Today the route leads downwards to Jomsom. This is a the most important village of the region. The small airport connects the region with Pokhara.24. Day - Departure to Pokhara
Again early in the morning you will fly with a small airplane to Pokhara. The flight takes about 40 minutes. The rest of the day you will be able to spend with sightseeing in Pokhara. Today the guide and the carrier will say goodbye to you.25. Day - Flight to Kathmandu
Around the afternoon you will fly with a small airplane to Kathmandu.26. Day - Kathmandu

Requirements
You will find the level of difficulty and the type of accommodation of each journey in the program.
Equipment
You are going to get an equipment list as recommendation together with your travel documents. The equipment for a tent trekking (tent, mattresses etc.) will be organized locally.
Luggage
You are allowed to check in 20 kg as well as you can take 5 kg of hand luggage with you. If you would like to travel with a trolley case, we kindly ask you to take an additional big backpack with you. Luggage which you do not need while trekking can be deposit for free in Kathmandu.
Entry
For the entry to Nepal you need a passport which is valid further than 6 month after your departure date. You will receive your visa upon your arrival at the airport in Kathmandu. You will be told about the visa expenses while booking, since the fee changes from time to time.
Health
Himalaya Trekking suggests seeing your doctor or a tropical doctor as early as possible so you will be informed about current provisions regarding injections. Pharmacy or a doctor will help you regarding your personal trip first aid travel kit.
Group size
Himalaya Trekking guarantees for every tour. We do not have any minimum size for a group, but we do have a maximum of 12 persons per tour.
Tour program
The daily program should be seen as very flexible since we have to consider the local circumstances as well as your physical condition. Your guide will plan with you every evening the next day.
Travel documents
You are going to receive the detailed travel documents with general information as well as your flight tickets 2 to 3 weeks before departure.
Tipping
The tip for the local guides and carrier are not included in the travel costs. It is common to tip them for a good performance.
Accommodation and meals
The overnight stays in Kathmandu and Pokhara will be in a middle class hotel. The restaurants can be chosen individually, as lunch and dinner are not included in the travel costs.
During a lodge trekking the hike will be trough village to village. You will stay overnight in a basic hostel and you are going to have your meals there or in a restaurant on the way. During the camp trekking you are going to stay in one man or two-person tents and all the meals will be provided by private cook.
Insurance
Himalaya Trekking recommends having travel insurance as well as a cancellation protection. We also recommend having a copy of your police with you.
Climate
The weather in Nepal is nice. The summer is together with the monsoon season from June to October, the rest of the year is dry. There is mild climate in the Kathmandu valley, during the summer time around 20-30°C and in the winter time around 0-15°C.
Please consider the climate for your travelling plans, since the county covers a height form 75 MASL to 8848 MASL. Therefor the climate changes and if you are in the wrong place to the wrong time you will probably not see the Himalaya. However there still is a suited journey for every time period!
